Northeast Texas Community College has entered into a Voluntary Engineering Transfer Compact with Lamar University, Midwestern State University, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, Texas A&M University-Kingsville, Texas Tech University, The University of Texas at Arlington, The University of Texas at El Paso, The University of Texas at San Antonio, The University of Texas at Tyler, The University of Texas of the Permian Basin, The University of Texas Pan American, University of North Texas, and West Texas A&M University that provides a seamless transition for students who complete the Associate of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME) to a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME) at the above schools.  To that end, NTCC is working to develop its curriculum in support of that partnership but is currently not offering all of the courses that would ensure a seamless transition in Mechanical Engineering.  Students should consult a faculty advisor or an academic advisor early in their program of study.
