Program Requirements

Core Curriculum Requirements (15 Credit Hours)

English or Speech: 3 Hours

Mathematics, Science or Computer Technology: 6 Hours

Language, Philosophy and Culture or Creative Arts Elective: 3 Hours

Choose one course from the following:

Social and Behavioral Sciences: 3 Hours

Other Degree Requirements (12 Hours)

Three courses.

Total Required - 60 Credit Hours


♦ Designates a prerequisite course that must be completed prior to application. The three lab hours from the required prerequisite science course applys towards the Math, Science, Computer Technology credits.

Courses within the Nursing Department are required in a specific sequence and are only offered once a year. Some course work is offered online or in a hybrid format. Please see an advisor for a guideline on sequence and timing of course work.

Nursing has selective admissions. GPA of 2.75 or higher required along with HESI A2 exam after pre-requisite course completion.  Application must received by designated date in fall/winter application process for the fall start date.
