BIOL 1407 - Biology for Science Majors II
4 credit hours.
Lecture/Lab/Clinical: Three hours of lecture and three hours of lab each week.
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 1406 and MATH 1314 College Algebra (3SCH) Successful completion of College Algebra or concurrent enrollment in higher-level mathematics is recommended.
Lecture and laboratory activities will reinforce the diversity and classification of life will be studied, including animals, plants, protists, fungi, and prokaryotes. Special emphasis will be given to anatomy, physiology, ecology, and evolution of plants and animals.
