MDCA 1343 - Medical Insurance

3 credit hours.
Lecture/Lab/Clinical: Two hours of lecture and two hours of lab each week
This course emphasizes accurate ICD-9 and CPT coding of office procedures for payment/reimbursement by patient or third party and prevention of insurance fraud.  Additional topics may include managed care of medical economics.
