RNSG 1301 - Pharmacology
3 credit hours.
Lecture/Lab/Clinical: Three hours of lecture each week.
Prerequisite: Admission to the program or current licensure as a Vocational Nurse
Introduction to the science of pharmacology with emphasis on the actions, interactions, adverse effects, and nursing implications of drug classification. Topics include the roles and responsibilities of the nurse in safe administration of medications within a legal/ethical framework.
