MDCA 1448 - Pharmacology & Administration of Medications
4 credit hours.
Lecture/Lab/Clinical: Three hours lecture and three hours of lab each week.
Prerequisite: MDCA 1360
This course includes instruction in concepts and application of pharmacological principles. It focuses on drug classifications, principles and procedures of medication administration, mathematical systems and conversions, calculation of drug problems, and medico-legal responsibilities of medical assistant.
