BIOL 2421 - Microbiology for Science Majors
4 credit hours.
Lecture/Lab/Clinical: Three hours of lecture and three hours of lab each week.
Prerequisite: CHEM 1411
Principles of microbiology, including metabolosm, structure, function, genetics, and phylogeny of microbes. The course will also examine the interactions of microbes with each other, hosts, and the environment. Laboratory activities will reinforce principles of microbiology. (Fall, Spring, Summer)
