MATH 1342 - Introductory Statistics 3 credit hours. Lecture/Lab/Clinical: Three hours of class each week Prerequisite(s): College-level ready in Mathematics This course is designed as a first course in statistics for any student desiring the knowledge of the fundamental procedures for descriptive and inferential statistics. Topics include frequency distributions, probability, random sampling, central tendency, dispersion, normal distribution binomial distribution, sampling distributions, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, Chi-Square, analysis of variance (ANOVA), and linear regression analysis.
