Students should consult a faculty advisor or an academic advisor early in their program of study. This curriculum is designed to prepare the student to enter directly into employment as a paraprofessional in accounting. Deviations from the courses listed require a recommendation from the faculty advisory and approval of the Associate Vice President for Workforce Development.

Core Curriculum Requirements (15 Credit Hours)

ENGL 2311 - Technical and Business Writing 3 credit hours.

Mathematics, Science or Computer Technology: 6 Hours

Choose two courses from the following:

MATH 1314 - College Algebra 3 credit hours. (or equivalent or higher) or
MATH 1324 - Finite Mathematics 3 credit hours.
MATH 1325 - Business Calculus 3 credit hours.
