DHYG 1304 - Dental Radiology
3 credit hours.
Lecture/Lab/Clinical: Two hours of lecture and four hours of lab each week.
Prerequisite: Admission to the Dental Hygiene Program.
Fundamentals of oral radiography. Emphasis on the fundamentals of oral radiographic techniques and interpretation of radiographs. Includes exposure of intra-oral radiographs, quality assurance, radiographic interpretation, patient selection criteria, and ethics.
