MATH 2412 - Pre-calculus 4 credit hours. Lecture/Lab/Clinical: Four hours of class each week Prerequisite(s): MATH 1314 or equivalent with a grade of “C” or better or an appropriate placement score This is a standard first course in functional analysis with algebra, geometry, and geometric interpretations. Topics include graphs, inverse functions, polynomial functions, rational and irrational functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, trigonometric functions, inverse trigonometric functions, Law of Sines, Law of Cosines, and analytic geometry. Additional topics such as vectors, polar coordinates and parametric equations may be included. (Fall, Spring, Summer)
