DHYG 2153 - Dental Hygiene Practice
1 credit hour.
Lecture/Lab/Clinical: Two hours of lecture each week.
Prerequisite:
Emphasis on laws governing the practice of dentistry and dental hygiene, moral standards, and the ethical standards established by the dental hygiene profession. Practice settings for the dental hygienist, office operations, and preparation for employment.
Note: Additional course fee(s) required.
All courses with the DHYG prefix are for students admitted to the Dental Hygiene Program only. The degree plan shows prerequisite courses and sequence for Dental Hygiene curriculum. Changes in the sequencing will be by permission of the course director and program director.
