Students should consult a faculty advisor or an academic advisor early in their program of study. These are suggested courses for students who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university and major in psychology. Transferability and specific requirements can be determined only by the receiving institution. Only college-level courses apply toward completion of this curriculum and the graduation requirements for the A.S.

Choose two courses from the following: Language, Philosophy and Culture
Choose one course from the following: Creative Arts
Choose one course from the following: History
Choose two courses from the following: Government/Political Science
Two courses: Social and Behavioral Sciences
Choose one course from the following: Component Area Option (CAO)
Other Degree Requirements
- Electives 9 credit hours.
Courses can be selected from any field of interest other than Psychology. Philosophy, Social Work and Sociology are encouraged. Please see your faculty advisor for best options.
