The following Associate of Science Degree program is intended to provide the first two years toward a bachelor’s degree in preparation for teaching certification. Curricula are listed for the Early Childhood - 6th Grade Generalist, Special Education, and Bilingual Generalist levels of certification, as articulation agreements have been developed with Texas A&M University-Texarkana in those fields. However, students may use these curriculum plans for preparing for other teacher education fields at other universities. Important: Students should consult with a faculty advisor to design a specific teacher education program of study.
