2+2 Articulation Agreement with Texas A&M University at College Station

Northeast Texas Community College and Texas A&M University at College Station have entered into an articulation agreement to provide a seamless transition for students who complete the Associate of Science Degree in Biomedical Science at NTCC into a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M University, College Station. NTCC students are required to complete the approved A.S. in Biomedical Science degree plan with a 3.6 GPA and no grade below “B” in science or math courses in order to facilitate admission as a junior in the Biomedical Sciences program at TAMU.

Biomedical Science is the broad field of applied biology related to health and disease. Biomedical Sciences baccalaureate graduates are primed to enter such professional schools as human medicine, veterinary medicine, dentistry, osteopathy, podiatry, optometry, pharmacy, and law just to name a few.

These courses are not required for the A.S. degree but must be completed at Northeast prior to transfer to Texas A & M University:
