RNSG 1160 - Clinical Common Concepts 1 credit hour. Lecture/Lab/Clinical: Six hours of lab each week Prerequisite: Admission to the program Co-requisites: RNSG 1105 , RNSG 1309 , RNSG 1341
A health-related work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply nursing theory, roles, skills, and concepts. Direct supervision is provided by the clinical professional. Emphasis is on the development of beginning professional nursing skills within the ambulatory, clinic, and acute setting for clients that are stable and have health promotion needs or commonly occurring conditions. Application of concepts learned in Introduction to Nursing and Common Concepts of Adult Health are integrated throughout these clinical experiences.
