AUMT 1410 - Automotive Brake Systems
4 credit hours.
Lecture/Lab/Clinical: Two hours of lecture and five hours of lab each week.
Prerequisite: AUMT 1201
Operation and repair of drum/disc type brake systems. Topics include brake theory, diagnosis, and repair of power, manual, anti-lock brake systems and parking brake. May be taught manufacturer specific. Course material may be taught using manufacture specific information. Students enrolled in his course must have a set of hand tools that they may lease from the college for $40 per semester.
