Students should consult a faculty advisor or an academic advisor early in their program of study. Northeast Texas Community College offers a cooperative Program with area medical facilities which are designed to provide skilled technologists in Diagnostic Radiography. Graduates of the Program receive an Associate in Applied Science degree in Radiologic Sciences and are eligible to apply for admission to take the certification examination administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). After passing the ARRT examination, the graduate may apply for State of Texas Licensure. Only college-level courses apply toward completion of this curriculum and the graduation requirements for the A.A.S.
The Radiologic Sciences Program is no longer accepting new students. Information is for current students only.
