Minimum Required - 39 Credit Hours

BIOL 2401  may be substituted for SCIT 1391 .

 

Students will be eligible to earn up to 39 semester credit hours in emergency medical services coursework at the Basic, Intermediate, and Paramedic levels under the following conditions:

  1. Documentation of state certification at the level for which they are seeking credit.
  2. Approval by the EMS full-time faculty based on an examination of the education and experience of the applicant.
  3. Passage of departmental examination at the EMS level for which the applicant is seeking credit (Basic, Intermediate or Paramedic)
  4. Completion of 12 semester credit hours of regular coursework at NTCC.
  5. Payment of $10 per semester credit hour for Emergency Medical Services credit by examination.
