Courses within the Nursing Department are required in a specific sequence and are only offered once a year. Some course work is offered online or in a hybrid format. Please see the catalog or an advisor for a guideline on sequence and timing of course work.
Nursing has selective admissions. A GPA of 2.75 or higher is required along with successful completion of the ATI TEAS exam after prerequisite course completion for LVN and Paramedic applicants. Paramedic applicants are also required to successfully complete a Certified Nursing Assistant Program and hold current CNA Certification to be considered along with the application requirements. Applications must be received by designated date in fall/winter application process for the summer start date.
