Students should consult a faculty advisor or an academic advisor prior to starting the Funeral Service program of study.  Even though Northeast has an open-door policy, the Funeral Service Education program must limit its enrollment due to the availability of clinical affiliations.

Program Requirements


Core Curriculum Requirements (15 credit hours)


English: 3 Hours


Mathematics, Science, or Computer Technology: 6 Hours


Language, Philosophy and Culture or Creative Arts Elective: 3 hours


Choose one course from the following:

Social and Behavioral Sciences: 3 Hours


Funeral Service Education Concentration (36 Credit Hours)


Other Degree Requirements (9 Credit Hours)


Minimum Required - 60 Credit Hours
