BIOL 2402 - Anatomy & Physiology II 4 credit hours. Lecture/Lab/Clinical: Three hours of lecture and three hours of lab each week. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 2401 with a final grade of C or better. BIOL 2402 is a continuation of BIOL 2401. The course includes a study of the structure and function of human organ systems including circulatory, digestive, respiratory, urinary and reproductive. Animal dissection is a required component of laboratory activity in both face-to-face and online formats. The natural sciences and allied health divisions of the college strongly recommend that CHEM 1406 or CHEM 1411 be the first course in the pre-nursing/pre-MLT sequence and be taken prior to enrolling in BIOL 2401. The topics covered in CHEM 1406 or CHEM 1411 are foundational to the following courses: Nutrition, A & P I, A & P II, and Microbiology.
Note: Additional course fee(s) required.
