The Manicurist Program is a 600-Hour program which consists of 4 courses and offers instruction required for obtaining a Texas Manicurist License. After completion of this program and successful passing of the two state board examinations, students are eligible for licensure. Students in this program will receive hands-on training in manicuring, pedicuring and all aspects of the artificial nail industry including acrylic, dip nails, gels and more. Students will also learn and practice procedures to care for the nails, hands, and feet, and proper sanitation procedures for working with the public. This program is approved by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, which is the regulatory and licensing body for Manicurists. Each student applying for the Manicure Program must complete the program application packet, and have a pre-enrollment interview with the instructor. Space in the program is limited.
