AUMT 2425 - Automotive Automatic Transmission and Transaxle
4 credit hours. Lecture/Lab/Clinical: Two hours of lecture and six hours of lab each week. A study of the operation, hydraulic circuits and electronic controls of modern automatic transmissions/transaxles. Diagnosis, disassembly, and assembly procedures with emphasis on the use of special tools and repair techniques. Course material may be taught using manufacturer specific information. Students enrolled in this course must lease a set of hand tools from the College for $40 per semester.
